Efficient High Power Amplification

The GXD 4 is QSC's newest power amplifier combining everything QSC is known for - audio quality and long-term reliability - into a new high power unit that outperforms everything in its class. The GXD 4 is optimized for 8Ω and 4Ω loads, with peak output of 600W or 800W respectively. This is a perfect power match for most 2-way 10-15" passive speakers on the market today. With all its power, the GXD 4's efficient Class-D power output stage only uses around 3.5Amps during normal operation.

Digital Signal Processing

Unlike other power amplifiers in its class, the GXD 4 provides full built-in DSP loudspeaker processing right out of the box. All DSP parameters are accessible by the large LCD display on the front of the amp. Each channel has its own precision rotary encoder for making adjustments to gain and DSP.

The DSP provides high and low pass filters, a full 4-band parametric EQ, digital limiting, and speaker delay when needed. All this built-in processing can replace practically all of the outboard gear typically installed in an amplifier rack.

Professional I/O

The GXD 4 is equipped with every type of professional I/O you could need. Both inputs feature balanced XLR and 1/4" connections that are paralleled together. Having the parallel inputs on both input makes it easy to loop out to additional amplifiers.

Speaker connections are handled by professional locking NL4 Speakon connectors or binding posts. The Speakon connections make it a great amp for use in portable applications where you might be connecting and disconnecting speakers at every gig. Or for the permanent installation, the binding posts make connections easier when cable has been run through conduit first.
